SCADPro x Walmart: Back-to-College Social Media Campaign
PROJECT OVERVIEW
In collaboration with Walmart, this SCADPro project focused on developing a social media activation that positions Walmart as the go-to digital destination for the Back-to-College experience. Working with a multidisciplinary team, I helped create meme-style visuals and illustrated around featured products for the “How I Should Study vs. How I Actually Study” two-screen carousel. Together with motion designers, we developed humorous, college major-themed GIFs that highlight Walmart’s products in a relatable way for college students.
Beyond illustration, I supported the production process by creating and maintaining a product order tracking list, coordinating with teammates to manage deliveries before and after filming, and keeping records of expenses for food and actor payments during shoot days. I also collaborated with other students to organize supplies and dress the set, ensuring each setup aligned with the creative direction of the social media assets.
